Hi, I’m Alia.

I’m naturally curious about how things work, and accounting is no different. I don’t like fixing the same problem twice, so when something doesn’t make sense, I look beyond the transaction to figure out why.

Over the 12+ years I’ve spent in accounting, I’ve worked at a lot of different angles—from managing the everyday details to overseeing the bigger financial picture. I’ve worked with growing businesses, multiple entities, complex reconciliations, reporting, job costing, and financial processes that needed a little—or sometimes a lot—of untangling.

That experience has taught me how to recognize what’s working, what isn’t, and when the numbers are telling us there’s something worth looking into.

What’s the difference between catch-up and cleanup bookkeeping?

Catch-up Bookkeeping is for missing months of financial records that need to be completed.

Cleanup Bookkeeping is for records that have already been entered but contain errors, inconsistencies, or other issues that need correcting.

Do I need QuickBooks to work with Monday House?

Monday House works exclusively with QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you’re already using QBO, we can work with your existing account. If you’re starting fresh, Account Setup services are available to help you get started.

QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) and other accounting platforms are not currently supported.
